Grandma Edna’s Fudge Brownies

A Schiesser Family recipe and the moistest brownies ever! Enjoy these with the view! Sift: 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Melt: 1/2 cup butter 2 unsweetened chocolate squares Add 2 beaten eggs to the butter mixture, and then fold in dry ingredients, and mix well. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup nuts (optional). Pour into greased 8" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

Fudge Sauce

This recipe was given to me by our daughter, Linda Deuell. It has become a favorite at Sunrise Landing Recipe. Ingredients: 5 Squares unsweetened chocolate (I use Ghirardelli - and you can use part semi-sweet if you like your sauce sweeter) 1/2 cup butter 1 can evaporated milk 3 cups confectioner's sugar 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla Melt chocolate and butter - remove from heat.
