Poached Pears in Chambord

This is a favorite breakfast starter at Sunrise Landing, but works as a light dessert, as well. 4 large pears, peeled, cut in half and cored 4 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons Chambord (raspberry liquor) 4 tablespoons white wine 2 tablespoons blueberries 2 tablespoons raspberries cheddar, bleu, or feta cheese.
